This on going research project examines the various possibilities of queering a dominant system of power. By “queering” a system here I mean creating disruption and therefore void in the ways the system functions.

This video, borrows the visual language of islamic patterns and their meaning and uses noise as one way to insert error into the system.

This video piece, attempts to create a virtual duplicate of th great Abbasi mosque located in Isfahan, Iran. The recreation of this space propose questions about the accessibility of dominant spaces within a culture for minorities and underpresented groups of the culture while at the same time questions the meaning of dublicationg a space in a virtual environment.
